June Holidays - Camp Rhapture & Esplanade YFest 2014

Hello! It is finally my first semester break for Year Two. We are only given two weeks. Basically for first week, 16th - 18th June 2014, I was involved in Republic Rhapsody IG June Camp - Camp Rhapture 2014!!! It was a time to emphasis and work on our Rhapsody IG's FOCUS for 2014

1. To Improve Communications  
•  Through strategic and bonding games.

2. Improve Artistic Excellence
•  Vocal lesson by Vaughan:  Making sure that they learn the basis of how to arrange songs
•  Movement lessons with Myra: Making each and every Rhapsody member is inspired and become a good performer, not only in terms of sound, which is already a must, but also in visuals aspect.
•  Through the Big Showcase that they have to prepare from day 1 till at the night of day 2

 This year we had Hunger Games theme and I was assigned to District 4 along with Mas, Hidayu, Ernest and Udi. I shall update more on District 4 when I receive the pictures. All photographs credit to Fai!

 It wasn't easy. Every camper often do not know or forgotten the hard work behind which is prepared by the Camp Committee. From the rough proposal plan, timeline, food and T-shirt ordering and executing the games and the plans we had in mind. Ups and downs exist in every camp because everything is unpredictable.

 Nevertheless, the happiness and learning experience for every junior matters more than the struggles, scoldings we suffered. If you learn to see everything in a bigger picture, the quality of the camp is more important than the quantity of the campers.

 Yes, these all my warriors, my fellows mentors for every District(1-5) and they made everything fun and exciting. Kudos to the serious pose ;D kekeke

There was a need hence I wanted to meet it. I felt really happy to perform at Esplanade Outdoor Theatre! First night, once we stood on stage, I couldn't see the faces of audience. Pitch dark. I guess the spotlight was really really strong, we kept sweating. Andrew's make-up went into his eyes :( 

Nevertheless, first night was successful because of the audience. Thank you Rhapsody Juniors for coming down to support us! Thanks Rina & Lionel! Thanks Myra and many others! ~ <3
