Open Arms

 Hello! Have you been waiting for a new post? Here it is~ Okay, maybe nobody read this but it's alright. I just want to type down some memories and update you guys or whoever that is so kind or interested in my life. Here we go~~

Elise and Lester wedding was on 13th September and my sister was the wedding's MC. Before the big day, I personally painted my sister's nails. AHAHA! 

When looking at their childhood montage-video played during the banquet, I spotted myself in one of the picture where we took with Giraffe in Singapore Zoo outing. The four of us. Wendy, Elise, Rina and myself. Fond memories where I feed the giraffe with my sister ahaha! 

Took these silly photographs with Sis's iPhone. I really adore how Coco Rocha can make so many expression!! Heard of her? Go Google now~~~ 

 Yes, holiday must include reading! AHAHA I'm a total book worm. Borrowed THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS Book One - City of Bones from RP library and it is pretty interesting. I give it a 4/5 rating. The author is Cassandra Clare and she wrote City of Bones, the first book in the Mortal Instruments trilogy and a New York Times bestseller. She was born overseas and spent her early years traveling around the world with her family and with several trunks of books. 

I read the reviews after reading the book. Yes, I agree that sometimes the book has no sense of continuity and characters' appearances changes now and then. Difficult to read at times, but it gives a desire to want to find out what will happen next. If you're in Singapore, maybe you can consider heading down to any neighboring library to borrow it. If you're overseas, do consider checking out any bookstores to try your luck.

 Hmm, I cannot remember when I took this, but it was a day when my mom was working and I was home-alone with brother. Yummy S$4.50 student meal perfectly whipped up by Bobby's Delicacy. 

 Beauty quote from Michelle Fawn for this week, for me especially. I was reminded that I should not desire just having a flawless, pretty face like Kpop celebrities in life. A good heart is sufficient. 


Do you have someone you miss, yet the person is avoiding you or no longer in contact with you? I guess some friendships cannot sustain because of many reasons. Nevertheless, it still hits me in my heart that I remember you fondly. 

I was crying last night. Today I was hit with a sad news. My beloved cousin was unfortunately involved in an accident. Visiting him in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) was a heartbreaking moment. The tubes, the pipes, the beeping sound of the monitor. Everything is just plain quiet as you can see pain screaming out from his heart. 

I felt waves of worries from Aunt and her family was flooding the ward. Fear or plain terror of death enveloped the room. I asked for permission to pray for him. After permission granted, I quickly washed my hands and stood by the left side of his bed as I prayed fervently for him. I prayed that God will heal his wounds, peace that surpass all understanding to be in his heart, I asked for courage, I rebuked the fear and encouraged him that he is recovering. 

Everything is gonna be alright. God is with us, He is never gonna disappoint us.
