Melbourne 2016 | PART TWO

There are 3 zoos in Melbourne and they are Werribee Open Range Zoo, Melbourne Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary. They are open daily from 9AM to 5PM. The main highlight from DAY TWO in Melbourne is definitely the zoo experience in Werribee Open Range Zoo! Let's begin the spam of photos! ~ YOU READY?

Surprisingly, we made it for the free guided safari tour upon our arrival at the zoo.
According to the brochure, the Safari tours run regularly throughout the day and the last tour departs at 3:40PM since the zoo closes at 5PM.
Honestly, it's so common to see only their back view because they are facing away from us.  πŸ˜”

One of the most entertaining shots is definitely this photograph of a hippo surfacing from the waters after the tour guide said, "I believe we are unable to see some hippos for today." πŸ˜‚
Gosh.. They sat down so neatly in a row. Unbelievable mannn
There's plenty of space to roam around the stunning open savannah ~
Imagine dinosaurs appearing in the photo above!
😍☺️

I can imagine myself riding on a zebra ☺️

Kim & I struggled a little at first to identify if it was an ostrich or an emu. πŸ˜‚
Finally ~ My favourite animal is the giraffe!
Let's take a moment to admire these beautiful creatures created by God.

Can't believe all six of them are males. No females giraffes in this zoo.. πŸ˜πŸ˜
I'mma still need to spread those model-like long legs to eat the grass yo buddyyy

A little cutie pie named Daisy was sitting behind us ~ πŸ’˜πŸ˜☺️
After the tour, we alighted and started to embark on the Pula Reserve Trail. It is about 1000 metres and a rough estimation of 60 minutes is needed to stroll through it completely.  Hence our first stop is to see the big guys, the Gorillas.

I can't seem to take my eyes from their butts. πŸ˜‚

Seeing backviews are better than no views yeah? #selfcomforting  😌
I observed there are MANNYYY mom pushing their prams around, bringing their kids (more like toddlers and babies) to see the animals. At the Hippo Beach & Water Play, you can really see how the kids are enjoying themselves.

I'm sure this hippo must be irritated by all the screaming from the kids.
I'mma just gonna show a little bit of myself. It's better than nothing okayyy
πŸ˜‚

We totally couldn't find any African Wild Dogs so we just proceed forward to see the Meerkats.

πŸ’˜πŸ˜☺️
 SOOCUTEE MEERKATS

Love how he looks at her while she's soundly asleep ~

A M18 scene observed and the lion roared after humping on its partner..

 Vervet Monkeys

Monkey Play area for kids to have fun ~

 Being cheeky πŸ˜œ

Spot the baby crawling in the photograph!
From here we stepped upon Bandicoot Hideout and began our Australian Journey which is about 500 metres and roughly estimated about 20 minutes.

 Isaiah 40:31
"But those who wait on the LORD, shall renew their strength ;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint."

Remember this photo above because the surprise is below! Read on ~ ✨

 You're a Koality best friend! πŸ˜‚☺️❤️

Guess who were the first ones to explore the Koalas area? πŸ˜Ž
There was no koalas. There was only ONE lor *cries*
Buddy we took so long to find you (even after the river trail) and you only came out when it was time for you to feast.

We came all the way down to walk on the Wirribi River Trail but we did a mini detour and did the unexpected thing.
We came close to the Brolgas and Emus.
Even closer to the kangeroos which we spotted from afar!
Was it worth the risk? Yeah definitely!

There was nothing much to see at the river trail but it was nice to just relax and walk around.
We couldn't find the koalas at first and we were a little disheartened. But we decided to revisit the koalas area before we headed back to the souvenir shop! Then BAM! We found it.

I guess it's the same principle we apply in life whereby when we fail, we get back up to try again. The results might be different for different ones. But it's better to live a life with no regrets, to go all out or go home with nothing in hand or in your heart.
