Catch Up

 #throwback to last Friday night where I attended #RPFLAMEAWARDS with my dearest Rhapsody IG! It was a free show with awesome performances from TRCC's IGs and there was delicious food catered for everyone. In addition, it was a celebration to celebrate achievements for the past year which includes all IG's Outstanding Leaders and Alumni! 

 The theme of this year's Flame Awards is HEROES AND VILLAINS!
Rhapsody IG decided to dress up as Volturi who are the largest and most powerful coven of vampires. With the equivalent of royalty in the vampire world, they enforce the laws of the vampire world and in the Twilight Saga movies, they are portrayed to be the "villains".. 

 I was looking for make-up inspiration and figuring how to portray the vampire-look on actual day and Dakota Fanning aka Jane, came 1st in my mind! I really like her vampire look: pale, chalky skin color accompanied with dark red roses eyes. 

 I was finding for color contact lens in shopping malls and also in various spectacles shops but they do not sell such lens. Thankfully, my juniors found a reliable contact lens seller based in Singapore and they are called "BAKETHATBUNNY"! 

 My very first time trying color contact lens and it was an unforgettable experience. 

It was much bigger than normal lens and at the starting the uncomfortable level while adjusting to new lens is 10%. But overall, it was comfortable for me.  

 I was thinking how to simplify the dark eye-shadow look to suit my Asian facial features and decided to keep it simple. I just keep to my Silky Girl's Perfect Stay Eye Primer + Shadow in 02 Romantic palette! Kevin helped to complete my look by applying fake blood. It was definitely a thrill to watch all my juniors and members dressed up for the occasion and fully in character for the show!

 I've been really busy with school work and balancing my IG practices at the same time.
I really wanted to blog but I always believe quality > quantity. Hence, it took me about a month to update everything I went through this busy phase.   

I really believe that Doppelgänger do exist in real life.
That explains why my classmate (above - in straight hair) looks like my another schoolmate (in wavy hair) and looks more alike when they smile. So coincidentally that my schoolmate was my secondary school classmate. AHA! #whereismyDoppelgänger

In around 2012, my brother went overseas to Canada to study and when he returned, he bought me a gift! My very 1st GUESS wallet. I thought it was pretty mature-looking for my age when I received the gift. Nevertheless I loved it cos' of its texture and functionality. However, the time has come for me to change after its daily peeling which was getting discomfortable when I made payment or when I am packing my bag. It felt awful why the skin is peeling. 

 Made a trip to shop for a new wallet. I took a long time filtering and picking my choices. But mom's suggestion always take me by surprise and of course, it was a good surprisingly choice! 

I'm all out for PINK!  

My blue converse shoes started having holes and gets flooded on each rainy evening after school when I walk from RP to MRT. And so, mom and I went for our shopping time and bought a Black Ox Converse Shoe! I named it "Becky" not only was I inspired by Becky G's music but I like how it sounded with an edgy attitude! 

 "My Father promised me." 

A science-fiction adventure film that made me realised that at this current moment, men are doing space exploration, battling with their relativity, time, hibernation, loved ones and etc. Definitely a great movie to catch because of the space turbulence and vivid screen graphics! Cried a lot when the thought of spending "an hour here is equals to 7 years on Earth". 

 Gave chinese tuition as usual but each lesson is always unusual! 

Lucas, my clever boy who made me laughed when he confidently said 老鼠 (rat) instead of 老师 (teacher)!

The music video showed how both gals falling in love with Bobby and following him around to appeal to him but end up with a surprising plot twist! I definitely would stalk Bobby if he was in my neighborhood or in my school! AHAHA

Looking forward to March 2015, where Disney princess Cinderella comes alive on the big screen!
I'm also currently excited to watch The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1!
